Signode hand tensioners allow operators to bring strap to desired tension with minimal interruption, effort and strap waste.
Most tensioners have a base which goes under the strapping and rests on the flat surface of the object being strapped. For smaller or irregular bundles, a push-type tensioner, which has no base under the strap, is recommended.
PF - Push Type Feed Wheel Tensioner
PF - Push Type Feed Wheel Tensioner is designed for 3/8" to ¾" Apex and Magnus Steel Strapping - ideal for round or irregular bundles.
The PFH Tensioner is a push-type feed wheel tensioner for tensioning steel strapping on round, irregular shaped, and many uncompressible objects with narrow surfaces. This tool has unlimited strap take-up and a breaker nose designed for easy break off of strap flush with the seal. The tool features a lift arm which prevents accidental release of applied tension.
PH2 - Rack and Pinion Tensioner designed for ¾" to 1 ¼" size Apex and Magnus steel strap and uses serrated gripping dog to hold the pulled strap end. It can be used with either dry or lubricated strapping on round or irregular shaped packages.
ST Feed Wheel Tensioner is designed for 3/8" to3/4" Apex and Magnus Strap.
T - Feedwheel Tensioner is designed for 5/8 to 3/4" Apex and Magnus strap.
AM 34/58 Manual Seal Feed combination tools designed for 5/8 to 3/4 Apex and Magnus strap applications. Seal feed combination tools carry a stack of seals in a magazine for easy, fast loading.
SCM 12/58/34 Manual Sealless Tools designed for 1/2, 5/8" and 3/4 Apex and Magnus strap. Sealless combination tools require no metal seals saving time and money. Production interruptions for reloading are eliminated along with purchasing, inventorying and loading of seals.
The SCL is a high performance seal less combination tool designed for use with Apex and Magnus strap in both 13mm and 19mm straps.
PNSC-2 Pneumatic Combination Tool is designed for use on steel strapping sizes ranging from ½" to .017" Apex and ¾" x .025" Magnus. PNSC-2 tool is ideal for strapping slit coils, bundled tubes and irregular shaped loads.

RCD-1435/3435 is a double reverse notch type sealer use with3/4 to 1 ¼ Magnus strap. Notch type sealers cut into the seals and outer edges of the strapping turning tabs down (down notch) or up (reverse notch)

Signode pneumatic tensioners take most of the effort out of strapping large or compressible packages. They also make tensioning uniform and precise through adjustment of the air pressure regulator.
All pneumatic tensioners, except the WP-2, have unlimited strap take-up. All pneumatic tensioners are furnished with a quick-disconnect plug.
It is essential that an air filter- regulator-lubricator assembly (Part No. 424773) be installed ahead of the tool on the air line.
